Below is instructions on how I created the patch board for my patches for less than $20NZD.
What you’ll need
Picture/photo frame - these can be purchased from somewhere like K-Mart for about $7.
Velcro Dots - Available virtually anywhere, I got mine from the warehouse for $12 (a 12 pack).
Step One
Remove the backing board from the frame and then remove the factory picture and paper.
Set the glass and frame aside.
Step Two
Figure out which part of the backing board is going to be the top, then flip the board on to its back so
the flat surface is facing you and the stand is on the table.
Step Three
Apply the patches to the board (without velcro dots) and see where you’d like them to sit and what
looks good.
Step Four
One by one apply velcro dots under your patches, and then attach the patch to the velcro dot.
Note: It's okay if the patch is bent, the glass will flatten it out.
Step Five
Once you have put all your patches where you want them, it's now time to put the glass and frame
back on.
Carefully slip the wooden backing with your patches into the frame and then lay the frame face down
on the table.
Step Six
Carefully push the notches that lock the backing board on to secure the backing within the frame.
Note: Be extremely careful doing this, applying too much pressure will crack/break the glass as
patches are thicker than photos. Apply just enough to secure!
Now you have your own patch board, enjoy!
