My Worst Milsim Experience

The Milsim
A basic 24 hour milsim running from about 1pm Saturday to 1pm Sunday, with mission objectives to be completed along the way.
A command team. They relayed the missions over radio, and we’re also our enemy. About 6 of them - almost all of them ex-military.
And a military team. Completed said missions relayed over the radio. About 8 of us. 6 relatively newbies with 2 more experienced players
The Field
The field was a large green field with cars line in rows with little hills between them, and open areas for setting up camp.

Vehicle Use
One ute like vehicle was used during the game by the command team.
Missions
Capture and hold points, gathering intel, “NPC’s” interaction, ambushes, night watches.
What made it the worst?
Not so much the structure, or the missions or that it was a 24 hour game. The thing that made it the worst, and lost a lot of its fun, was that the command team could hear all our radio chatter, knew every single move that we were about to make, and we’re set up for it to deny us the ability to complete objectives. The military team we’re from the get go set out to fail because of this set up.
The Unfairness of the Rules
There were rules in which we were to strictly abide by or we would be kicked from the game, for example, like most fields which was fine with us, was the no smoking policy. Very common with green fields, yet the commander team was free to smoke on the field. The same went for drinking alcohol, although not that much was consumed by them, to us it was still seen as being extremely unfair.
Every mission, they knew, they came up with the missions, so knew what we would have to do before we did, and then, would be listening to our radios to see what we were doing and where we were going - ultimately cutting us off and stopping us from completing objectives.
Punctuality, we were to be up and ready for missions at 6am sharp. They slept until about 7.30. Most of us had been doing rounds of guard duty as well, so had little to no sleep.
By this point in the game, we had kind of had enough, they were rolling us over because they had the freedom and the upper hand at any corner we took. That was when we decided to get up to no good. A couple from our team snuck into their camp, kidnapped one of their players and then grenade a tent.
It doesn't need to be said, they were awake after that - and for those on my team that smoked, we’re suddenly kindly given a smoke break.
After our team got that much needed break and refresh, we were much the same given some objectives to complete, which you guessed it, they rolled us on because they knew exactly where we were and what we were doing - but this is also where they fucked up on the second to last mission.
We were to go to the area near where we parked our cars, collect an item and return it to our base. We knew they would ambush us, they had done it before. But we were on higher ground for the departure of our last mission, we could see them and they couldn’t see us. It was time to mess with them and get payback, we’d talk on our radios saying to move left, and we’d see them scurry off in that direction, we’d then say move right and they’d go over that way. Then came the radio call from them and we saw them get into the vehicle, an unidentified vehicle was approaching our location - our wrong location. So we set up on corners, behind cars, behind hills and so on, and waited for them. I was the first point of contact, when I opened fire, they would too. I waited for the vehicle to pass and get to a good spot and all 8 of us just let rip and mag dumped the vehicle.

Needless to say, their mission failed and ours didn't, and we got all the loot we had collected previously that they had stolen because they decided to store it in the vehicle.
Also, they became quite grumpy and salty with us after that. I wonder why?
