Facebook Cancel Culture

Well, Facebooks cancel culture has been at work again.

As a lot of you are probably aware, or will have possibly noticed, Jay's Airsoft Facebook page has suddenly stopped posting, where it was quite active and posting quite often. Well, this is due to Facebook deactivating my personal Facebook profile and placing an admin block on the Jay's Airsoft page meaning that I can't claim it back, even using a different profile.

Their claim was, that I had run ads that go against their policies, and that I "wasn't someone who should be ok Facebook". That's from their own emails. The shouldn't be on Facebook policy to my belief is the one they made when countries started their bans on social media for our younger generation.

So that now brings us to two major issues, well three.

1. I never ran an ad - how can I possibly breach that policy?

2. I'm born in 1989, I don't think someone in their mid 30's classes as someone who is too young according to their countries bans

3. FACEBOOKS AI IS SHIT.

Facebook's AI is what reports everything, it pulled posts from my page as being against guidelines, and this was even very basic text posts with no image, I remember one being "New Video coming Friday", the text only and apparently that goes against their policies, and when you click to get a review, guess who reviews it, the same AI that flagged it in the first place. Make sense right? They rely on AI that doesn't even know their own policies.

The things that i posted not once breached any of their policies, yet their AI did that anyway.

But then, catch this, they'll allow full blown AI videos claiming to be of real life events, and not remove them, they allow full blow nudity in their ads and reels, and don't remove it, and when you report it, "it doesn't go against any of our policies", yet me posting the link to a YouTube video is a major breach of their policies!

I had that Facebook profile for about 14 years, and AI took it in about 1 hour.

Well done Facebook, way to say fuck you.
